A Useful Sling
Transferring In Limited Space
The Promove sling is a safe and comfortable means of moving and transferring people not only outdoors but also in environments where space is limited. Though especially useful in emergencies, its use is by no means limited to such situations. Consisting of a bucket-shaped seat that is easily positioned under a wheelchair user, the Promove incorporates secure hand holds for two to four handlers, with the user’s weight distributed evenly between them.
The sling comes in two sizes; the standard size is suitable for older children up to large adults, whilst there is now also a smaller version suitable for 3 to 11 year olds. The Promove does not need to be used with a hoist but is supplied with straps that enable it to attach to one if required.
