Tilda From Auto Adapt
The Tilda, manufactured by Auto Adapt, is a mechanism that tilts a car seat to enable a disabled user to get in and out more easily. It is compatible with the manufacturer’s swivel seat base Turnout and the Carony system, whereby a car seat can be placed on a wheel unit to become a wheelchair.
The Tilda incorporates a footrest that gives the user clearance over the car’s threshold without the need to lift the legs, and gives more headroom inside the vehicle since it facilitates the easy transfer of the seat from the Carony wheel section to the swivel base within the car.
